Steve Fujikawa ( http://www.vectorp.com/news_information.html), President of IntelliTech Microsystems, Inc., notes that "Our Vector P UAS flew multiple successful forest fire monitoring missions during the USDA Forest Service-NASA Ames Spring 2006 UAS Demonstration." Steve continues, "In earlier work with the USDA, our Vector P UAS platform, equipped with multiple sensors and imagers, collected data during autonomous flights over agricultural fields. The data were used for determining the root causes of poor crop growth and for calculating the most efficient and effective application rates for fertilizer and pesticides."
